December, 2006-  CBAK, in corporation with Insurance Association of Kosovo (IAK) and with Insurance Industry organized one Workshop in Durrës, Albania on the subject of Kosovo Insurance Industry Challenges and Reforms

Participants in this workshop were CBAK delegation headed by Managing Director - Mr. Michel Svetchine and Mr. Hashim Rexhepi - DMD, shareholders managers of the Insurance companies from Kosova and Albania, IMF advisor Mr. Shuvo Banerjee and representatives of FSA Albania.

Opening speech was held by MD Mr. Michel Svetchine and DMD Mr. Hashim Rexhepi.
Key issues discussed during two days of this workshop were changes of Draft regulation Nr 5 about Licensing of Insurance Intermediaries and draft regulation about: assets deposition as grants, capital adequacy, financial reports, risk management, investments and liquidation. In this case changes of draft regulation 5 – for licensing of Insurance Intermediaries the presentation was held by Mr. Ibish Mazreku Director of IPSD.

Meanwhile draft regulation about “Deposit of assets as grants, capital adequacy, financial reports, risk management, investments and liquidity” was presented by Mr. Berat Begu from CBAK. During this seminar major focus was given to trend of Insurance Industry and representatives of this subject.
