Continuing on successful cooperation between CBAK and Bank of Albania, delegation from Tirana visited CBAK on the 16 and 17 November. The delegation was composed by Mrs. Xhilda Deliana Kanini- Director of Information Technology Department in Bank of Albania, Mrs. Miranda Rama, Deputy Director of Supervision Department Mrs. Etleva Gjonça, Adviser with Governors Cabinet.

The purpose of this working visit was to exchange knowledge and experience regarding the functioning of the Credit Register of Kosovo (CRK). During this visit, the delegation from Bank of Albanian were able to learn about practices used by CBAK for proper management of the CRK.  Credit Register of Kosovo (CRK) is a data base operated by the Banking and Payments Authority of Kosovo in order to assist the credit providers in their decision making process to extend credits. CRK is a compulsory tool and as such will be monitored by the CBAK as the regulator of the Finance Industry. CRK is a web based application and accessible online and in real time, where approved credits are entered within 24 hours following the date of their approval by the provider of the credit.
