Research and Statistics Directorate of the CBAK on the occasion of the first publication of balance of payments bulletin, has organized a presentation on Tuesday, 17 October 2006, from 16:00 at “Hani i 2 Robertëve” Gallery in Prishtina.  The aim of this event was to make public the results of the main developments of balance of payments (BOP) statistics for the period 2004-05.

In the presentation were invited representatives of most relevant institutions operating in Kosovo  and which are involved in economic transactions with nonresidents, medoas were invited as well.  Invited were representatives of government and non-government institutions (such as SOK, MFE, MTI KTA, PTK, Airport etc),  representatives of UNMIK, IMF liaison office in Kosovo, World Bank, European Agency for Reconstruction (EAR) and other relevant resident and nonresident institutions which are involved in a lot of external transactions.

The opening welcome speech was held by Mr. Gani Gërguri, Deputy Managing Director whereas Mr. Bedri Zymeri, BOP Team Leader, has made a presentation regarding the content of BPK Bulletin and major developments of BOP during 2004 – ’05 .
