September 21, 2006 - Central Banking Authority of Kosovo recently received an extensive amount of leaflets and brochures on the Euro banknotes and coins. These leaflets and brochures are part of the ECB campaign “The Euro our Money”. They are designed to increase awareness of the general public about the Security Features of the Euro Banknotes and Coins and other technical specifications related to the Euro currency. 

Central Banking Authority of Kosovo welcomes the ECB support in this area and will be working closely with the Financial Institution to channel these educational materials to the general public.

Events of this nature are part of the CBAK ongoing effort to increase awareness about the security features of the Euro currency and fight against counterfeit.
