BPK delegation participated at the XIX Annual conference of BSCEE Group held in Montengro
The central bank of Montenegro hosted 19th conference of the group of Banking Supervisors from the Central and Eastern Europe (BSCEE). About forty representatives of central banks and other bank supervisory institutions from 16 countries participated in the two-day meeting. Representatives of the bank for international settlement (BIS) from Basel II and Federal Reserve Bank of New York presented their experience on developing supervision and strengthening its capacity.
Special attention was given in the work of this year's conference to the implementation of the Pillar III-market discipline (Basel II) and corporate governance and the role of the banking supervision in this respect, with the specific needs of an individual country. In addition, the exchange of views and experience concerning the application of these two components in the banking supervision arouse great attention amongst the participants. BPK delegation participated as a special guest of this event since.
