On 18 December 2007, the Governing Board of the Central Banking Authority of Kosovo has granted a full banking license to

TEB ( Turk Ekonomi Bankasi SH.A)


On December 18th 2007, the CBAK Governing Board has taken the decision to grant a full banking license to TEB. A preliminary license was already granted to TEB by the CBAK Governing Board on 25th of September 2007. The TEB fulfills all requirements prescribed in applicable rules and regulations in Kosovo. The bank shall be under the CBAK supervision regarding its banking activities in Kosovo.

Ownership:

TEB SH.A is hundred percent owned by TEB Mali Yatirimlar A.S.
The TEB Mali Yatirimlar A.S was established in Istanbul Turkey, on 10th of December 1980. Its main shareholders are: BNP Paribas Group and the Çolakoglu Group.

BNP Paribas Group – is one of the European leaders in banking and financial services, also present in USA and Asia markets. This group possesses a very large network in more than 85 countries, with more than 140,000 employees. Total assets as of 31.12.2006 amounted to 1,440,343 million Euro, clients’ deposits to 393,133 million Euro and loans to 298,652 million Euro.
